# Improvement in immune system
The test results from Kunming mice that were treated with Bioactive Factors showed a significant increase in immunity. After 30-day continual feeding of fruit seeds extract, the immune function parameters, such as IgM PFC, serum hemolysin and phagocytose function of phagocytes in abdomen cavity of Kunming mice were remarkably improved.
# Improvement of insulin resistance and type II diabetes
The result from a present clinical case showed a potent effect of Bioactive Factors on improving type II diabetes. A patient with serious type II diabetes has been treated with Bioactive Factors for 6 months. The blood glucose level was significantly dropped on the third day, and it has been keeping normal during the following treatment (see the graph below). After four weeks of treatment with Bioactive Factors, the dosage of 3 of 4 anti-diabetic medicines were reduced to half and the one medicine was stopped by the doctor due to diabetics control being greatly improved. After an additional three months of treatment with Bioactive Factors, the second anti-diabetic prescription medication was stopped. Those results showed a potent effect of Bioactive Factors on anti-diabetes. The indications seem to suggest that this fruit seeds product may be employed as a supplementary health food product to help in the treatment of type II diabetes (Refer to Figure 1.1).

* Protection of hepatic function in Hepatitis B patients
The clinical observation in the patients with hepatitis B disease who have taken "Bioactive Factors" showed that the product can protect hepatic function and regenerate the damaged liver cells. It is testified by the clinical observation from Jilin Provincial Academy for Chinese Medicine and Herbs that major medical cases are combinations of diseases such as cholecystitis, chronic gastritis and duodenal ulcer, and one-third patients are chronic of continual hepatic dysfunction and positive surface antigen. After taking "bioactive factors" as a complementary to prescribed medications for 1-2 periods of treatment, the short-term total effectiveness rate of treatment is 90%, the surface antigen negative reversal rate is 30.4% and the e-antigen negative reversal rate is 27.8%, superior to that in the control group.
* The rehabilitative and protective functions of Bioactive Factors for human stomach mucous membrane
A trial from 60 subjects who were confirmed chronic superficial gastritis with gastrofiberscope were treated with Bioactive Factors. The results showed the fruit seeds extract could help to alleviate symptoms as Stomach pain, anorexia, heart burning, and abdominal distension, significantly deceasing cumulative scores of symptoms and remitting tenderness below xiphoid process. Those taking treatment of Bioactive Factors have a much better aftermath under gastrofiberscope and biopsy than those in control group. Total effectiveness rate was 73.33% for the Bioactive Factors treated group, in contrast the placebo group was 56.67%, the difference is significant.
* Anti-virus function
30 patients suffering venereal diseases and skin diseases were treated with soybean extract (Bioactive Factors) for 1-2 month. A therapy course of 1-2 months achieved a total effectiveness rate of 64%. HPV, HSV and HVB all are RNA virus. The trail results suggest that the Bioactive Factors may have multiple anti-virus functions because it is effective not only on venereal diseases, but also on hepatitis.
* Benefit to cancer patients
The results from several clinical cases show that the Bioactive Factors 1) could significantly raise white blood cell counts in patients who undergo chemotherapy treatment or maintain white blood cell counts at normal levels during chemotherapy treatment; 2) could raise total protein level in patients who undergo chemotherapy treatment or maintain total protein at normal levels during chemotherapy treatment; 3) could greatly improve nausea symptoms and digestive system functions; 4) could improve and alleviate the tired feeling and fatigue in patients.
* Benefits to Skin Care
In informal tests, over thirty individuals have applied the Bioactive Factors to the face for treating acne. After three or four applications the acne on the face was significantly improved. The effective rate was over 95%.
